Mike and Rachel Fitzmorris live in Newfoundland, PA.

Mike has been involved in horse logging since his late teens, when he began helping family and friends.

He also has extensive experience giving hay rides and driving draft horse teams hooked to a variety of farm equipment. Mike has ‘logged’ hundreds of hours driving hay ride teams with Dave Swingle, of Black Horse Farm, Sterling. Their wealth of experience includes two seasons giving night rides through the Christmas lights in Nay Aug Park, Scranton. Mike and Dave are known in the area for their ability to handle horses in a calm, capable manner.

Mike also has a strong interest in farm antiques, many of which are horse drawn. He can be found in wintertime pulling a round bale on an antique ’stoneboat’ behind a team of draft mules. In the summertime the team pulls an antique manure spreader. Mike is married to Rachel, a riding instructor and horse trainer from England.
